The new Frauscher 858 Fantom Air is a powerboat that manages to perform a well as it looks, and it is a head-turner from all angles, underpower or alongside the dock. Just a bit over 24’ in length with an 8’ beam, it features an open seating area forward, with twin sunpads aft, and additional passenger seating just behind the console. Gleaming teak is used to accent the swim platform as well as the decks and foredeck. In an “electrifying” collaboration between Porsche and Frauscher, the gas-powered engine is replaced by an electric motor powered by lithium-ion batteries that was designed for use in an upcoming all-electric version of Porsche’s Macan SUV. A limited production run of 25 of these sleek vessels will be released in 2024, affording a few lucky owners the ability to cruise in silent splendor; FrauscherBoats.com.
