Originally founded in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1828, H. Moser & Cie is now located in Le Locle, Switzerland, where 55 artisans produce 1,500 timepieces annually. The firm’s latest Streamliner Tourbillon continues the trend of cutting-edge designs backed by technical excellence. The automatic tourbillon movement, chosen for its ability to significantly improve upon the timepieces’s accuracy, and featuring a 72-hour power reserve and a double hairspring, resides within a sleek 5N red gold case secured by a matching 5N red gold bracelet. This first non-steel Streamliner is also unique in that it uses Vantablack, capable of absorbing 99% of light, for the dial. The hour markers are positioned behind the dial, making them visible based on the angle at which they are viewed. Interestingly, while its price of $119,900 may have an impact on demand, this is not slated to be a limited-edition model; H-Moser.com.
