There’s so much diversity within the Hispanic world — from vast geographical landscapes to endless accents, dialects, slang and style. We all have our own personal go-to comfort bites and sips that we crave in good times and bad. We all have our preferred sayings and unique ways of doing things. The more amigos I meet from all over the country and the world, the more I appreciate growing up in our melting pot by the sea where the Spanglish flows as easily as our tropical tides and balmy ocean breezes. Regardless of where you’re from — Latino, or not — we embrace all people from all backgrounds and walks of life. It’s the Miami way.
