“You don’t need a reason to help people.” That’s the response of Attorney-At-Law Alexandre Piquet of Piquet Law Firm when asked about the motivation for devoting his time to Kids In Distress, a charity aimed at preventing child abuse and assisting abused and neglected children in South Florida. Piquet has organized several highly successful events for the charity, helping to raise much-needed funds to support their work. Coming up, he plans to continue putting on the annual Christmas BBQ and Valentine’s Day party in support of the group, and to seek out additional collaborators, sponsors and donations. He urges others to get out and help the causes close to their hearts. “We all have to get out there and do our part,” he says; Kids In Distress; KIDInc.org.
