Wally’s Tender

Wally Yachts is a funny name, but the vessels they launch are breathtaking, high-performance masterpieces very often owned by people that also own small countries. So when they make a tender, you know it’s something special.

When you think of a tender, an image of a 15’ Zodiac inflatable springs to mind. Wally, however, marches to a different drummer, so their “tender” is a 48’ yacht. Tenders are watergoing SUVs that ferry guests to and from the big boat or go on day trips. The 48 Wallytender does all this with ease, yet it’s also all the boat those of us who do not own 300’ superyachts will ever need. The Wallytender features jaw-dropping amenities such as the opening bulwarks that increase the size of the swim platform and a passarelle that serves double duty as a 5-step swim ladder. Sunbeds and expansive seating areas allow guests to lounge in comfort while dining on meals created in the open-air galley. If the heat gets to be too much, down below is a comfortable stateroom with a full head. Twin Volvo 650 powerplants are linked to an IPS joystick that allows even a complete yachting newbie to maneuver like an America’s Cup skipper; Wally.com.
