Rodrigo Garduño started 54D after his professional soccer career came to an end. “I decided to create a program that trains both the mind and the body,” he says. “I wanted to combine my background as a professional athlete with my passion for motivating people and encouraging them to feel better and be the best version of themselves.” 54D is a high intensity program, but you don’t have to be as fit as an athlete to do it. It’s all about getting better every day. The mental component of sticking to the program and being disciplined is what’s most important. Founded in 2012, they now have studios in Mexico, Colombia and Miami and are getting ready to open their second South Florida location with a 6,500 sq. ft. studio in the Miami Design District in October. They also launched 54D ON in July 2020, after discovering how many people around the world wanted to do the program but didn’t live near a 54D studio. To date, the 54D ON program has a global community with more than 13,000 graduates in more than 75 countries around the world. Celebrities, professional athletes and soccer players join the live trainings including Adriana Lima, Juan Cuadrado, Edwin Cardona, Jorge Posada, Juanes, Fonseca, Carlos Vives and Alex Rodriguez, who recently finished the onsite program at the Coral Gables location; 54D.com.
