Gastronomic Wonders

You wouldn’t know to see it now, but the bodacious Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival got its modest start at the School of Hospitality on the FIU Biscayne Bay campus in 1997 as a one-day festival known as the Florida Extravaganza. The now-legendary 2023 edition of everyone’s favorite culinary spectacular is back and better than ever, welcoming hungry revelers to eat, drink and educate, with a delicious roster of events for every taste. Recognized as America’s favorite gourmet gathering on the beach, the 4-day festival returns to the sand with more than 100 events featuring Food Network personalities, Grammy-winning musicians, and more than 450+ chefs and wine & spirit producers who come together for an unforgettable celebration. All net proceeds benefit the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University. Bring your tastebuds and your appetite; Feb. 23-26; SOBEWFF.org.
