The Miami Symphony Orchestra, or MISO, is an orchestra that’s as vibrant as the city itself. Now in its historic 34th season as Miami’s hometown professional symphony, it’s an invaluable contributor to our cultural fabric as it presents incredible symphonic music to a culturally diverse audience, in a variety of settings and formats, with the aim of educating, engaging and enriching the community of one of the world’s most international cities. As a result of its significant cultural impact on the community, MISO was proclaimed The Official Symphony Orchestra of the City of Miami for 100 years on July 4, 2022. MISO mixes classical music with fashion, pop culture, and endless creativity. In its headquarters in The Miami Design District, one of the most emblematic areas of the city, MISO has positioned itself to develop future talents in the area of music and arts, while delighting the citizens of a vibrant city that is constantly changing and evolving; TheMISO.org.
