Sebastian Garcia has revolutionized the way a groom and his groomsmen prepare for their big day. Weddings, once all about the bride, with the groom getting stuck in a stuffy getup, Garcia has set the stage by bringing dashing tailored menswear to South Florida. He’s done this via his acclaimed My Grooms Room as well as his high-fashion men’s store, Sartori Amici. And now, he’s focused in on making lapels more than a staple of refinement. Introducing The Lapel Project, reminiscent of Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack days in Vegas. The initiative is about versatility, artistic expression and marketing possibilities. It’s taken Garcia 10 years to acquire a patent for a suit that transforms into a tuxedo with lapels that scream: Miami is my kind of town; SartoriAmici.com; MyGroomsRoom.com; TheLapelProject.com.
