Every single person on staff has given back in a big way to causes they care deeply about. Who knew? No one ever talks about all the ways they give back. We’ve been conditioned to keep our charitable lives private. But what good is that? If you’re doing all these great things, why not tell anyone who’ll listen? I say if you do good, share it. If someone asks you what you did last weekend and you’re hesitant to tell them you helped feed a few dozen hungry families or volunteered to help find homes for abandoned puppies, leave your modesty at the door and tell the truth. It could be just the nudge they need to join that volunteer group they’ve been meaning to reach out to, or mail that check they haven’t gotten around to writing yet. You never know. But what you can be sure of is that at the very least, your good deeds will be received with a smile…from those you help and from anyone you share your experiences with. Giving is contagious. Use that power to do your part to help change the world. It could make all the difference.
