Tucked away on Biscayne Boulevard off of 15th Street is a cultural gem by the name of The Centro Cultural Espanol De Miami (CCEMiami). Founded in 1996, it’s home to a wealth of fabulous programs and events all year long. The Center has an exhibition space inside, and a funky urban patio outside, which is home to unique Micro Theatre containers, a series of cargo containers that have each been turned into performing arts spaces. Each container is home to a different 15-minute play Wednesday-Sunday, hosting up to about 15 people. It’s a really cool experience and bound to leave a lasting impression (which makes it a great date outing). Oh, and there’s also a bar onsite aptly named the Downtown Estrella De Galicia Lounge; MicrotheatreMiami.com.
