At just 15, Brazilian-born driver Joao Vergara has won a full-season in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Series for 2023, after taking the leap from go-karting to Formula cars. “I feel honored and very grateful for this opportunity and am excited for what is to come,” says Vergara, who was up against 20 other racers in the annual event. The win presents a major opportunity for the rising star to gain experience in the series, as he paves the way toward a bigger championship. With a significant following already established in his native Brazil, Vergara is eager to spread the word on this amazing program to drivers all around the world.
