The Junior Orange Bowl’s year-long festival has an international reach, impacting over 7,500 youths from 75 countries each year. In addition to academic and cultural events, the organization has a wide range of athletic events including archery, basketball, chess, cross-country, tennis, golf, hockey and bowling. Working closely with both public and private schools ensures that student-athletes have an opportunity to experience magical moments like building strong friendships, bringing home a win for their team and meeting internationally known athletes and superstars like Martina Navratilova who served as Honorary Chair of last year’s Orange Bowl Tennis Championship as well as Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia and Lexi Thompson who have participated in some of the most recent Golf Championship Tournaments. Perhaps the most inspiring of all the events is the Sports Ability Games, which allows physically challenged kids to push themselves beyond their limits to reach new heights in sports. Go ahead, jump onboard to fuel the athletic development and confidence of the next generation like never before; JrOrangeBowl.org.
