Without Numbers

Who needs digits when you’ve got such eye-catching design? These timepieces demonstrate how chic a watch can look when traditional numbered faces are left off the dial.

Delicate Balance
It doesn’t get any more demurely feminine than the Tissot Rose Dream Gold, an elegant piece in perfectly balanced shimmering white and gleaming gold. The watch’s standout quality is certainly its gorgeously iridescent mother-of-pearl dial, perfectly accented with 42 Top Wesselton diamonds. Even the Rose Dream’s leather strap has been given a pearlescent finish, to add to the watch’s stunning play on light and radiance. And thanks to its subtle palette, it’s versatile enough to wear with anything; Tissot.CH.

Elegant Labyrinth
When watchmaker Alexander Shorokhoff traveled to Istanbul looking for Turkish business partners, he brought home some serious inspiration. The beauty of the city and its historic art and architecture moved him to create this Byzantium timepiece. The watch gives a traditional numbered dial the pass in favor of a gorgeously complex interplay of decoration that pays tribute to the Arabic masters of calligraphy and to Istanbul’s ancient Greek influences. The timepiece is available in 3 dial colors, each limited to an edition of 300 pieces; Alexander-Shorokhoff.de.
