Have you ever thought of a cool invention and wondered how to make millions on the idea? Surely you have an intellectual property attorney on the payroll ready to answer all your questions. If not, the folks at Dade Legal Aid may be able to help. But in the meantime, you can help them and sharpen your spatial skills by signing up for The Patently Impossible Project Challenge. On Nov. 6 at Miami Science Museum, you can be part of a charity race to assemble a patented invention. The first competitor to correctly complete the invention will leave the competition begging for mercy and take home great prizes and even greater bragging rights. If the competition intimidates you, just watch from the sidelines and “bet” on your favorite contestant. All proceeds benefit Dade Legal Aid, the oldest civil legal services program in Miami, and the folks who can help make your $1 million idea a reality; DadeLegalAid.org.
