Employers are consistent about it: problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and the judgment to use artificial intelligence well. AI can run the model. It can’t make the final call. So we rebuilt the MBA program around that. The Miami Method is an innovation in curricular design: one problem-solving approach as the backbone of the program, carrying students from defining a problem to communicating a recommendation someone can act on. Students use AI at every step, and we assess them not only on what they produce but on how well they used it. Rather than relying on a fluent answer from AI, they learn to probe it, to ask the right questions, to know which answers to trust, and to determine what comes next. We reinforce the approach in every class that follows, until AI-enhanced thinking and judgment on complex problems becomes second nature. The way business school should be; MBS.Miami.edu.
