This led to Ana Elvir launching Tour With Teddy, sharing pet-friendly places in South Florida. On Mother’s Day in 2020, Ana met Teddy, a Maltese puppy, and instantly knew she had to bring him home. “When I started researching places I could take him, I quickly realized that most dog-friendly spots were limited to grooming salons, boarding facilities, and dog parks,” says Elvir. Reaching out to her friends who worked at dog-friendly luxury hotels, she began creating and posting videos of Teddy out and about.
