Designed back in 1958 by Tadao Inouye, it exemplifies the breezy spirit of Southern California with an expressive sculptural form that features vinyl straps that hug the frame to provide comfort and support. The current re-imagining by Richard Frinier features a luxurious choice of suncloth straps that are more comfortable, stretchy and weather-resistant…essential elements in our South Florida sun. Clients can also choose from updated vinyl straps on its extruded aluminum frame. Only one thing could make the Katan Collection better — if you could get it into your backyard in a timely manner.
