When Ariete Hospitality Group first opened El Vecino at Miami Worldcenter, it quickly became a go-to spot for sophisticated locals who appreciate the finer things in life. Its new Happy Hour from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. features top-shelf drink specials that include the Court Royale with gin, lillet, apple brandy and lemon; the Tattletale with scotch, honey, bitters and citrus; and the Bermuda Sour, featuring Black Strap Rum topped with orange and egg white. Wines and beers by the glass are also on offer. Cigar enthusiasts and neophytes alike will enjoy the menu’s curated cigar pairing recommendations. “The most reliably enjoyable pairing is usually your favorite drink in one hand and your favorite cigar in the other, but sometimes you want to be more deliberate about how the two sides of that pairing play together,” says El Vecinio’s Cigar Program Director Nicolás Jiménez, who is always available for a personal consultation or a tour of the humidor. “I had the hard job of tasting all of these cocktails and finding cigars in our selection to give guests suggestions to start their exploration!”
