Born in the 11th Century to care for pilgrims in the Holy Land, the Knights of Malta fused martial strength with unwavering compassion — a rare alliance of sword and service. Today, the Order’s mission transcends borders, active in more than 130 countries. Recently, an investiture ceremony was held at the historic Scottish Rite Temple, where several of the world’s most respected community leaders including Miami’s own Dame Estrellita S. Sibila, Sir Monty Trainer, Sir Paul George and Sir Jorge A. Sibila were knighted by Lieutenant General & Prime Minister Sir George Popper, continuing the legacy of the organization’s humanitarian and diplomatic missions around the world; KnightsOfMaltaUS.org.
