Eye-Catchingly Bold

The 100-year-old brand famous for promoting inclusivity takes trendsetting to the next level with a fresh new perspective, a new collection, and a new expanded landmark store in Aventura Mall. The evolved footprint of Gucci includes two additional shopping areas dedicated to menswear and childrenswear, in addition to the existing women’s shop. The three boutiques together are LEED-certified with LED lighting throughout, showcasing the fashion house’s commitment to implementing and enhancing eco-friendly initiatives and energy-efficient technologies. Fashionistas will find a wide collection of ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, luggage, leather goods, jewelry, watches, eyewear, fragrances, dècor and the newly launched Gucci Lifestyle. In keeping with the elegant and contemporary eclecticism that characterizes Gucci’s collections, the store sees the combination of traditional and modern, industrial and romantic. Contrasting merchandising elements represent different design codes, harmoniously meshing together to create a sense of curiosity, inviting customers to feel like they are continually discovering new aspects of the store — it’s a stylish journey through the surprising, the unexpected and the must-haves;

Under The Disco Ball

Moxy South Beach arrived on the scene not too long ago and made a big splash with its vivid sights drenched in sunshine and its unmistakable Miami vibe just steps from the sand on Washington Ave. in Miami Beach. On Nov. 19, one of the city’s most anticipated pop-up disco collabs will feature Minnie’s Disco (an exclusive Baum Brothers production) and Peach Room (by hospitality entrepreneur Savannah Smith). The set will launch a special monthly experience that will become a tradition aptly named DISCOTECA. Featuring dinner at the critically acclaimed Como Como followed by dancing at the best new spot on South Beach, Mezcalista (showcasing over 100 varieties of mezcal!) in the heart of the iconic Art Deco district. During the jam-packed evening, a soundtrack of dance tunes from the many eras of disco will wow revelers and show them why Studio 54 was such a hit back in the day. You will be humming the I Willl Survive disco anthem all night long; — Photos by Michael Kelinberg

Murals With Momentum

Downtown Coral Gables has been increasingly coming up on the radars of trendy mainlanders as one of the hottest new neighborhoods in Miami. The famous tree-lined strip has evolved into much more than just a place where brides and grooms go to plan their dream wedding. Adding to the excitement, the city just launched its first-ever mural project. Murals On The Mile celebrates The City Beautiful’s most cherished historical icons — the grapefruit farms of yesteryear; the world-class golf courses; canopied scenic roadways; tropical paths; and even the IG-worthy rainbow umbrellas that once shaded the shops, restaurants and bars along Giralda Avenue. The new giant murals were developed by Chalk & Brush, headed by local creative power couple Cinthia Santos & Benjamin Levy. “This initiative adds an uplifting and whimsical backdrop to Coral Gables’ bustling business district,” says Aura Reinhardt, Executive Director of the Coral Gables BID. “The designs are an expression of the city’s heritage and will enhance the experience for visitors who come to the area.”;
