Every Thursday from 3 p.m.-6 p.m., Elia On The River trades traditional tea service for something livelier with Tipsy Tea Thursdays, a spritz-fueled twist on the classic afternoon ritual. Chef Alejandro Porben builds towers of sweet and savory bites, plated alongside a steady pour of Aperol spritzes, while live entertainment keeps the energy moving with the river views. Philanthropic Eve

Miami-Dade’s philanthropic calendar marks a bright spot this season as Chapman Partnership prepares to host the Illuminations Gala on Oct. 17 at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. This year’s theme, No Place Like Home, anchors an evening built around the donors and volunteers whose efforts light the path for those experiencing homelessness. Jose Dans and Heide Dans chair the event, joined by Co-Chairs Maryam Laguna Borrego and Eddie Borrego. The evening also presents the Alvah H.
