Jam Sessions
Returning to our shores for the third time, the Montreux Jazz Festival brings the legendary Swiss brand back to the Florida waterfront at The Hanger in Coconut Grove. As the stateside edition of the world’s most iconic jazz festival (the one where Prince, Nina Simone and Bowie made history), the Miami version keeps that spirit alive, but makes it intimate with only 1,500 people per night, sunset on the bay, and a heavy focus on spontaneity. The confirmed lineup includes Nile Rodgers & Chic, TOTO, Bomba Estéreo, Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Pedrito Martinez and Adi Oasis. It’s really an “anti-festival” with no massive crowds, no mud, just incredible sounds and legendary jam sessions where headliners stay late to improvise together for truly one-of-a-kind moments. Beyond the music, guests can immerse themselves in culinary experiences from Miami’s most acclaimed restaurants and chefs, sip bespoke cocktails, and enjoy immersive art installations, VIP lounges and waterfront hospitality designed to elevate every moment. To continue its steady evolution, new dates are being added this year moving beyond pure jazz to encompass funk, pop and Latin sounds; Feb. 27-Mar. 1; MontreuxJazzFestivalMiami.com.
