Freddie Colloca’s love of music all comes back to his fans. “I love to see people’s reactions when I sing the songs they love,” he says. “It’s priceless when someone hears a melody and starts crying, laughing or smiling.” Colloca is known for his contemporary pop-rock style, with tunes that offer strong melody lines and unforgettable hooks. His Christian-themed songs have also won him some serious acclaim, with a couple of nominations for the prestigious Dove Award, among others. With 7 albums already under his belt in both English and Spanish, his career is on fire. Next on the agenda is a major concert on Miami Beach in March, complete with a full band and orchestra. He also has an inspirational record in the works comprised of originals and cover tracks. “I’m going to sing songs I believe we need at this time in our lives,” he says.
