The facts are in: Heart disease claims more lives each year than all forms of cancer combined. On a mission to help spread the word, The American Heart Association’s new young professionals committee division, dubbed Miami PULSE, is hosting an evening of mixing and mingling, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres, specialty beverages and live entertainment on Nov. 2 at Jet Runway Café & Hanger 9 in Ft. Lauderdale’s Executive Airport. The spectacular evening will raise funds toward The Heart’s Ball “Open Your Heart” campaign. Hundreds of guests will dress in red and take over the airport hangar in hopes of keeping heart disease from taking flight; MIAPulse.com; Heart.org.
