You’ve heard of people with a voice like an angel and that’s certainly more than true of Gustavo Briand, a Miami Hairstylist & Founder of Charity Angels. Launched just last year, this grassroots group goes to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Miami & Ft. Lauderdale monthly to bring food and karaoke to families needing a little cheering up. “Some of these people forget who they were before their sickness…we help remind them, especially the kids,” says Briand. Currently, there are plans to expand the group to Tampa, Phoenix and Chicago. Volunteers and donations help to ensure that the mission continues to evolve to reach even more kids and adults who benefit from the services and performances offered; Facebook@CharityAngels.
