The eye-catching work of Mamút embraces all the conscious and subconscious culture that Alex Izaguirre absorbed by both living in Venezuela as a teenager and today in Miami. His influences range from graphic novels, rock ‘n’ roll and traditional printing techniques and his work can be seen in a variety of organizations like Voto Latino, The California Endowment and Listos California. He most recently won a Shorty’s Award for design in an “Immigrants Are Essential” campaign, and was selected as a featured artist in Target’s Latino Heritage Month series “Más Que A Month”;
