


While many dogs are eager to spend time with humans, her dogs are trained and certified. The founder of Miami-based Therapy Dogs by Alexandra Ramos, she recently added Pegasus, a therapy horse, to her team. “Seeing a child in a hospital light up when they meet Pegasus, or watching an elderly patient feel comforted by the gentle presence of one of my therapy dogs, is truly priceless,” she says.
