Why launch a craft beer tasting at what started as a wine festival? Because at VeritageMiami, they want to get in as many nuances so we can geek out together over our favorite glasses. After all, beer is just as good as wine for sharing with friends. The brews and bites in this tasting are presented in the courtyards of Wynwood Walls’ extravagantly colored and artfully designed murals. This is a great way to spend a balmy Thursday night outdoors in Miami for a good cause. It is just one of the several notable events as VeritageMiami celebrates its 26th year of bringing together over 2,000 food, beer and wine aficionados from across South Florida to eat, drink and unite — all to benefit United Way Miami. Since its inception, VeritageMiami has raised more than $14 million for a stronger Miami; Apr. 14; VeritageMiami.com.
