Most Ferraris are equipped with huge, snarling V12 engines that make them masters of the track, but less than ideal for normal driving chores. The California T, however, is powered by a turbocharged, 3.9-liter V8 that progressively unleashes more power only as the RPMs and speed increase; you’ll need to be in 7th gear to experience the full 552 hp. Speaking of which, those drivers who never mastered heel- and toe-shifting can rejoice: Ferraris no longer can be ordered with manual transmissions. That being said, the California T is an exceptionally easy-to-drive car with movie star looks and perfect manners. It doesn’t sacrifice any comforts while you drive to and from the office during the week and it’s perfect for weekend cruising of A1A. It’s also the least expensive Ferrari, making it no surprise that this is Ferrari’s best-selling model; Starting @ $194,000; Ferrari.com.
