Happy Life
A successful entrepreneur, luxury real estate leader and film producer, Patricia Delinois has become a recognizable force across industries and on social media, admired and followed by millions around the world. Yet beyond elite properties and high-profile clientele, her life is rooted in giving back. A few years ago, she received an unexpected call on her birthday: a malnourished Chihuahua in pretty bad shape had been found tied up and abandoned. She knew what she had to do. “I adopted him sight unseen and named him Chico,” she says. Today, her pup lives a 5-star life…attending red-carpet events, posing for photoshoots, traveling, and adored like family. “He is living proof that rescuing is not about saving a life once…it’s about rewriting an entire future,” she says. “More than a rescue, he is a reminder that legacy isn’t only what you build, it’s what — and who — you save.”

Second Chances
As the Founder of pet adoption service Rescue Route, Clara Acosta works closely with many rescues and local shelters throughout the city, fostering a network of dogs from Miami-Dade Animal Services and collaborating with rescues such as Olive Branch Dog Rescue, EIO Rescue Ranch, and many others. “I’ve also personally pulled dogs off the streets, had them vetted and spayed/neutered, and placed into adoptive homes,” she says. While most people enjoy watching a puppy grow up, Clara loves watching a rescue dog decompress and begin showing their true colors. “I don’t believe every single rescue dog is the right fit for every person or family, but I do believe the right dog is out there for everyone,” she says. “Bringing a dog into your life is a lifelong commitment, and it can feel overwhelming at times. My goal is to help people understand each dog’s personality and needs as best I can so they feel confident, supported, and excited about welcoming a rescue into their home.”

Lives United
Rescuing her dog was not something that Viviana Sanchez Real planned. She first learned about Micky through a family who no longer wanted him. “They were giving him up for adoption, not because he had done anything wrong, but simply because he no longer had a place in their lives,” she says. “When I heard that, I couldn’t stop thinking about how he must have felt, not understanding why the people he knew were disappearing from his world.” The day she went to meet him, she saw a deep sadness in his eyes, but also hope. “In that moment, I knew I couldn’t leave him there,” she says. Viviana says that Micky taught her what unconditional love truly means, what resilience looks like, and how powerful it is to trust again. “Today, he has a home where he is loved, where he is safe, where he is family,” she says. “Rescuing him was one of the most beautiful decisions of my life. When no one else chose him, I chose him. And he chose me.”

Magic Moments
A pet-sitter and lifelong animal lover, Bella Fuentes has always had a soft spot for animals. Her passion came full circle when she saw a post on a community Facebook page about a dog named Daisy that needed to be rehomed. Daisy’s story began in Virginia, where she lived for 12 years with a military family. She grew up in their home, quiet, loyal, sensitive and shy. When her family had to move overseas, Daisy’s whole world was turned upside-down. “The thought of Daisy ending up in a shelter was unbearable,” says Bella. “She deserved better.” Right then and there, Bella made a choice. She became Daisy’s person. Their next chapter began in Miami, in a high-rise full of animal lovers and fellow senior pups. “Surrounded by kindness, sunshine and salty breezes, Daisy slowly bloomed,” says Bella. “Today she’s an Olympic-level napper, a waterfront stroller, a Brickell adventurer, and a deeply loved soul who finally found home.”
