All donations will benefit the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center as well as various other cancer charities handpicked by the participating boxers. For its charitable boxing matches, “everyday” individuals are selected from a pool of applicants to experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see what they can do in the ring. All participants undergo a rigorous 4-month training program with expert USA Boxing-registered trainers, culminating in an electrifying gala, where participants compete in their first official USA Boxing-sanctioned bout in front of nearly 2,000 supporters.
