When it comes to amping up your libation arsenal this season, this traditional wassail recipe has a few twists that will keep you coming back for seconds and thirds.

2 cups Captain Morgan Rum
4 Small Apples
1 Orange
10 Whole Cloves
2 qt. Hard Apple Cider
1 tbsp. Powdered Ginger
1 tsp. Grated Nutmeg
2 Cinnamon Sticks

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Scoop out the core of the apples and fill each with a tbsp. of unrefined cane sugar. Place the apples on a baking sheet. Stud an orange with 10 cloves and place it in the baking sheet. Bake together for 30 minutes. Pour apple cider and rum into a heavy-bottomed pot and warm over low heat. Whisk in powdered ginger and grated nutmeg. Float cinnamon sticks on top to taste.
