Yachtsmen know the value of traditional deep-v hull, ensuring a stable, controlled, smooth ride even in choppy seas. With a LOA one inch over 68’ and a 19’ beam, the Eastbay 60 is the perfect size for overnight or longer explorations along the coast, or simply taking friends on an evening cocktail cruise across the bay. The hull is designed to reach planning speed very easily, which in turns delivers very efficient fuel economy; the builder claims it uses half the fuel of similarly-sized motoryachts. On the main level, oversized windows allow an unobstructed view for the owner while underway as a well as those in the seating area and dining table. A few steps below lies the galley, the owner’s stateroom with private bath, plus a pair of guest cabins and a shared bath. Powered by twin Volvo Penta 1,000-hp turbodiesel engines, and with a fuel capacity of 1,519 gallons, the Eastbay 60 has a very impressive range of 894 nautical miles when cruising at 21 knots, drawing a scant 3’ 9” allows its owners to pick a destination and get there and cruise for several days with minimal interruptions for fuel stops; EastbayYachts.com.
