As the President of Business Operations for the Miami Marlins since 2022, Caroline O’Connor has played a pivotal role in the team’s growth, becoming one of only two women in Major League Baseball to reach such a prestigious position.

She joined the Marlins in 2017 as Sr. VP & Chief of Staff, quickly advancing to Chief Operating Officer before assuming her current role. O’Connor oversees all aspects of the Marlins’ business operations, including finance, marketing and community outreach. She has transformed the park into a year-round destination, attracting major events like the World Baseball Classic and the Caribbean Series. Her influence extends beyond the baseball field, as she’s deeply involved in the community. She serves on several philanthropic boards in Florida and is a Jackson Health Foundation Board of Directors Executive Committee Member. Among other initiatives, she supported the Foundation’s inaugural “One Day for Jackson” campaign, raising more than $550,000 to support Jackson Health System’s vital capital projects, benefiting Miami-Dade County residents; JacksonHealthFoundation.org.
