The always-delicious VeritageMiami has just gotten even better. On Mar. 15, it’s unveiling a new event, a Farm To Fork Brunch curated by James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Schwartz. You know him from Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, Amara at Paraiso, Harry’s Pizza and various other popular nosh-spots. VeritageMiami fans will recall that the chef was the Interactive Dinner headliner exactly 10 years ago. In the intervening years, the South Florida cooking spotlight has moved to emphasize the use of local ingredients. Schwartz is a large part of this trend and will be joined by like-minded chefs who will partner up with a local producer (the “farm”) in this salute to South Florida’s agricultural bounty and boundless culinary talent in support of the United Way of Miami-Dade; VeritageMiami.com.

On the edge of the Miami River, where sun meets memory, her spirit lingers. Elia — radiant, free, unforgettable. We chose the restaurant Elia on the River as the setting for this story, drawn to its ability to embody both the romance and the raw beauty we imagined. With its stunning waterfront views and a menu that marries coastal flavors with the richness of locally sourced ingredients, Elia on the River offers more than just a dining experience — it creates a world where every detail feels intentional, layered, and alive.
