“Through its SD 2030 strategy, Swire Properties strives to become the global sustainability leader in the industry by 2030.”

In her role as VP of Marketing for Swire Properties, Inc., Christa Dabkowski oversees all marketing and communications including all existing residential, commercial, and retail real estate assets, as well as pre-development projects and pipelines. She also serves as steward of the Swire global brand in the U.S, market, steering all B2B and B2C brand strategy. “It’s an incredible honor to be part of a company that has such a storied history, equally impressive, both on the global landscape and in our own backyard here in Miami.”

With her previous posts as VP of Brand for Simon Property Group as well as at REITs/developers including Westfield and Taubman, Dabkowski is no stranger to the world of real estate development. “What makes being at Swire so meaningful, especially at this stage in my career and life, is knowing this company is building not just for today’s world but truly also looking at how we can build responsible and sustainable neighborhoods for future generations.”

In its 45+ year history in Miami, Swire’s primary focus has been the ongoing master planning and development of Brickell Key in Downtown Miami, as well as the landmark Brickell City Centre. When asked about the company’s highest priority today, she shares: “Through its SD 2030 strategy, Swire Properties strives to become the global sustainability leader in the industry by 2030,” she says. “As we continue to invest in Brickell and South Florida, I’m both excited and inspired by the internal goals we set and the innovative ways our teams continue to push boundaries.”

These days, Dabkowski happily spends her “off-duty” hours chasing her vivacious 2-year-old daughter and relishes watching as the little one explores and discovers the world. “Being a mother is the hardest job I’ve ever had — but certainly the most fulfilling as well,” she says. “She teaches me something new every single day, but most importantly she’s softened me and taught me to be more present in the moment.” It’s safe to say Dabkowski is a steward in more ways than one; BrickellCityCentre.com.
