Louis Vuitton Kubic Armchair Joins the Pierre Legrain Homage

Geometry takes a seat in the Kubic Armchair, the newest addition to the Louis Vuitton Pierre Legrain Homage Collection.

A trapezoidal backrest rises above faceted armrests covered in Nomade leather, a signature of the brand. Rosewood side legs ground the silhouette, while cubic lines place it at the crossroads of Art Deco and Cubism. The design reinterprets a historic model conceived in 1923 by Pierre Legrain for Jacques Doucet. That lineage runs deep: the Dressing Table, the very first piece from the House, was also his creation. The result showcases leatherworking and cabinet-making craftsmanship at their most virtuosic. It stands as a pure expression of heritage joined with contemporary creation. It joins the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades collection, where limited-edition pieces gather renowned artisans and contemporary design talents; LouisVuitton.com.
