Race Scene
When Formula 1 comes to town, Miami transforms into something the city does better than almost anywhere else: a full-scale spectacle where the main event is almost beside the point. Formula 1 weekend has always been as much about what happens off the track as on it. Live music, curated food, and hospitality tents packed with celebrities set the tone. After all, this is a place to be seen as much as to watch. Previous performers have drawn the kind of crowds that stick around long after the checkered flag drops. Hard Rock Stadium has hosted Super Bowls, World Series, and rock concerts, so it knows a thing or two about atmosphere. Wrap that infrastructure around South Florida, where the heat is thick and the energy thicker, and you get something that feels less like a sporting event and more like a cultural moment. Three days. One city. Zero reasons to miss it; May 1-3; F1MiamiGP.com. — Photos by Edward Leal

Game On
Rewriting the sports bar playbook, Play spans 12,000 sq. ft. plus a sprawling covered patio at CityPlace Doral, with the flagship venue delivering on every front. Seven live sports simulator suites, a trio of digital dart lanes, 60 screens and a live stage keep the energy moving. The kitchen features raw bar towers stacked with jumbo shrimp and colossal lump crab, truffled lobster pearl pasta, and 12-hour brisket tacos alongside smash burgers to keep you fed while you play. The cocktail list is an ode to Miami’s cultural richness, with mezcal-hibiscus pours and rum builds worth every sip. Open daily, with weekend brunch starting at 11 a.m.; PlaySportingLounge.com.

Foreign Flair
A decade of crêpe-forward expertise has found a strong home at Miami Worldcenter, where Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café has become a go-to in one of the city’s fastest-growing districts. Spring arrivals include a Chicken Pesto Crêpe wrapped in spinach-infused batter, a Very Berry Crème Brûlée Crêpe, and a Dubai Chocolate Milkshake that earns every bit of its attention. Bowls, croffles, pressed paninis, and fresh salads round out an all-day menu built for lingering. On the drinks side, two new matcha lattes join a beverage program that runs from Tiramisu Lattes to Frozen Mimosas and Prosecco Spritzes. The Parisian-inspired space handles weekday coffee runs and weekend brunches with equal ease. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner; SweetParis.com.
