A recent article on 15 cars being discontinued after 2018 held no surprises, until the last entry…or rather, exit. The vehicles were coma-inducing models such as the Mitsubishi i-MiEV. The exception? The V10-powered, legally insane Dodge Viper. The Viper has more horsepower than a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and you may well wet yourself if you ever press down fully on the gas. It’s a really good idea to prepare a will before driving one. Regardless, the Viper is iconic. Our increasingly polite, taco-burps-kill-polar-bears world may never see another V10 powered street legal car, and that’s sad. So should you buy one as an investment while you still can? If we were investment advisers, we’d say “Are you nuts?
