The initial motivation for André Flax Mars starting his fitness journey back during his junior year in high school was simple: “Why else would a guy that age start going to the gym?! I wanted girls to like me!” A lifelong athlete, his childhood included endless days at the beach, track events, swimming and diving. Today, splitting his time between Brickell, Ajax, Canada, and his native Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands, this fitness influencer is an advocate of bro-splits (training one body part a day) and switching up his diet, depending on whether he’s looking to cut or bulk. “When people tell me I inspire them to be healthier and make fitness a more integral part of their life, that motivates me and pushes me harder,” he says. “It’s important to be consistent and trust the process — it’s not going to happen overnight, but hard work really does pay off!”; @Dre.Mars_Fit
