The NEW Miami

My, how far we’ve come. If you’re still dizzy from the impact of this issue’s cover depicting all of the proposed new projects slated to grace our city’s skyline, trust me, you’re not alone.

It’s incredible how much we’ve evolved in just a few years and how quickly we’re recovering from the real estate bust that plagued our city (and the entire nation) for so long. Miami is a place increasingly defined by optimism, foresight and guts. Undoubtedly, the modern, iconic skyline that awaits us is just a taste of what’s to come. No one can deny The Magic City is evolving. Sure, age-wise, we’re just a baby compared to other major cities. Perhaps that’s why so many of the projects, buildings and developments being built, planned and/or proposed are so amazingly modern, so intensely built for the future, so new. We’re definitely coming into our own, and there’s nothing but great things — and even more breathtaking views to enjoy — on our horizon.
