The twin-turbocharged V-12 powered Mercedes-Benz AMG S65 Final Edition is not quite one-of-a-kind, but with only 130 produced worldwide (and no doubt a handful of doltish owners who will allow a valet to park theirs, thus reducing the number almost immediately) it comes very close. AMG was acquired by Mercedes some years ago to upgrade, enhance and essentially “build a better Benz.” Everything they touch is special, but none so special as this car. The base S65 is the road-going equivalent of a Gulfstream 6, yet AMG manages to propel it far beyond merely sublime.
