DB + Partners was founded not out of ambition, but out of desperation and serendipity when David Berry was fired from a big advertising shop which he had wanted to quit, but hadn’t. They took the decision out of his hands, and he took the leap.

David Berry is grateful someone pushed him. If not, he doesn’t think he’d have taken the chance to open his own advertising firm. “I’m glad I was fired,” he says. “I like telling the story to prospects and clients because I want them to know DB + Partners is not another fluffy ad factory. The reality is we’re gritty, transparent and damn fun to work with. And we’re willing to fight tooth and nail to grow your business, because I know first-hand what it takes to do it.” The firm has an apparel brand whose monthly revenue they’ve grown from $150K to $375K in just four months; and they helped a national fitness brand reduce new member acquisition costs by 50%. On the personal front, Berry is getting married in January. “I understand now what people mean when they say ‘You’ll know when you’ve found the one!’,” he says. “The funny part is I actually came out with a book called The 10 Phases Of Dating as we started getting to know each other. I gave her a copy and knew that after she’d read it, she would either be scared away, or, as I was hoping, that we’d get serious pretty quickly. Thankfully, it was the latter.”; DBPlusPartners.com; IAmDavidBerry.com; Amazon.com.
