You know him from Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, Amara at Paraiso, Harry’s Pizza and various other popular nosh-spots. VeritageMiami fans will recall that the chef was the Interactive Dinner headliner exactly 10 years ago. In the intervening years, the South Florida cooking spotlight has moved to emphasize the use of local ingredients. Schwartz is a large part of this trend and will be joined by like-minded chefs who will partner up with a local producer (the “farm”) in this salute to South Florida’s agricultural bounty and boundless culinary talent in support of the United Way of Miami-Dade; VeritageMiami.com.
