This delish riff on a traditional Eastern Sour combines two different types of whiskey along with some orgeat and tiki bitters in lieu of rum for an explosion of flavor in every sip.

Instructions

Slap either mint or basil on the back of
your hand and stick in the glass. Fill lime cup with overproof rum and place in ice. Grate nutmeg over top. Note: This will flame. Twist the orange essence over the
cocktail and decorate the glass with it. Serve straw on the side until lime stops flaming.Combine all the liquids in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds or until the tin is almost frosted on the outside. Strain in a glass over fresh ice and add garnishes.

Ingredients

1 oz Iwai Japanese Whiskey
1 oz Old Grand Dad Rye Bourbon 
1 oz Housemade Orgeat
1/2 oz Lemon
1/2 oz Lime
1/2 oz Lemongrass Simple Syrup
3 dashes Tiki Bitters

Garnish

Nutmeg (for grating)
Orange Peel
Thai Basil or Mint
Half Lime Wheel
Overproof Rum (for flaming)
