When Roger Federer goes on the road with his wife and 4 children in tow, it’s not an unusual sight to see them surrounded by two dozen (or more!) Rimowa Bags toting everything from tennis gear to suits and one suitcase for shoes alone. So it’s no surprise that the luggage brand tapped him as one of the faces of its latest campaign. “I’ve been a world traveler for 20 years now,” he says. “I compare myself to a musician, but I do a world tour every year. I felt Rimowa was a very natural fit for me, for both of us. I love the suitcases and the brand; being from Switzerland, I appreciate quality and craftsmanship.” For the photo shoot, Federer used his own slick-but-bulletproof suitcases rather than having new suitcases provided for the campaign; Rimowa.com.
